Necessary and mandatory to alert visually impaired people of a danger or obstacle

A warning strip is a tactile paving surface installed on the ground to alert visually impaired and blind people when they are walking. It consists of small raised studs arranged in a diamond pattern, which users can feel underfoot or with their cane to detect any dangers or obstacles around them.
The use, installation and properties of tactile paving are governed by various laws, decrees and standards.
