Each model is assembled out of aluminum parts combined with the finest bone china and red cedar wood. All materials are weather resistant for outdoor use.

Canal Birdhouse is a tribute to the Golden Age, a key-period in Dutch history. The canal houses represent this period and form the cityscape of Amsterdam. Frederik Roijé translated these iconic buildings into birdhouses. The gold colored details refer to the opulence of the golden age. With a Canal Birdhouse you will bring a bit of Amsterdam home.
