Frigomeccanica, a company owned by Invitalia and the Unigrains fund, leader in the design and creation of furnishing and refrigeration solutions for pastry shops, ice cream parlors, bars and food, will be at the fair at HostMilano 2023 from 13 to 17 October to present the best innovations in the sector . The Totem and Oslo refrigeration systems constitute a big innovation in the panorama of commercial refrigeration systems, with a view to technological production aimed at design but also at environmental sustainability.
HostMilano, the main international platform dedicated to technologies, accessories and services for professional hospitality, is ready to offer an extraordinary edition from 13 to 17 October 2023, collecting the legacy of a sector that has demonstrated great resilience and capacity for growth . In 2022, the Italian food equipment sector reached a value of 4.5 billion euros, recording growth of 4.5% compared to the previous year. The forecast for the global market in 2023 is $36.80 billion, with an expected increase of 5.9%. This exponential growth is partly attributed to the explosion of food delivery, with a 10% increase expected in Europe alone, reaching 25 billion. With these premises, Host 2023 is positioned as the ideal stage for innovations from Italian and foreign producers. 45% of the 1,200 registered companies come from 44 different countries, highlighting the strong international presence of the event. USA, Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom are among the most represented countries. The event is divided into macro areas, including Professional Catering-Bakery, Pizza and Pasta; Coffee-Tea, Bar-Coffee-Vending Machines; Gelato-Pastry; and Furniture-Technology and Tableware. This allows us to cover the entire spectrum of the sector and offer a comprehensive overview of innovations. The distinctive feature of Host 2023 is its rich program of events. Innovation will take center stage, with a focus on sustainability and digital transformation. The Smart Label – Host Innovation Award, in collaboration with POLI.design and ADI, represents one of the flagship initiatives. This award recognizes products and solutions that stand out for innovation and sustainability. The activities will be multiple and high profile: from debates on trends in luxury pastry making with the participation of Iginio Massari, to the focus on the cuisine of the future proposed by the FIC Academy. The world competitions, organized by FIPGC, will offer entertainment and excitement, celebrating excellence in the pastry and ice cream sector. The partnership with FIPE will create a "FIPE Laboratory", exploring topics such as digital transition, sustainability and the new skills required in the restaurant sector. While SCA – Specialty Coffee Association will present numerous events focused on the world of coffee. ANIMA, the association of Meccanica Varia of Confindustria, will offer an in-depth vision of Made in Italy technologies for Food and Ho.Re.Ca, with the addition of collaboration with ICE Agenzia to further enrich the offer with content and opportunities for business. For those interested in design, the Design Talks in partnership with POLI.design will offer insights and insights into sustainable innovation, while FCSI will present a series of seminars, workshops and round tables.
