In collaboration with Burroni Dapporto Architecture Studio
The project has consisted of the full renovation and design of two buildings, both of them part of the same unit located on the seaside near Ravenna - ITALY.
The architectural complex has been redesigned and transformed, taking inspiration from some modern Italian architecture projects such as “Villa Bianca” di G. Terragni and the “Villetta al mare” di P. Bottoni. In both of the buildings, we have used simple materials from the rationalist architectural language such as projecting platform roofs and continuous windows that characterize and shape the building façades.
We have preserved the main structure of the original buildings, while we have fully modified and renovated the interiors. In this project we have reserved particular care to the use of renewable energies (photovoltaic system/ solar collectors) and to the energetic savings given by our high performing windows and closing systems: Thermal insulation coating with ventilated wooden - curtain wall; ventilated crawl space; wooden insulating coating with varnished aluminum. Wooden- aluminum doors and windows – our model PL 100a with whiten wood pine (inside) and aluminum covering (outside).
In particular, the PL100a window model offers two main advantages: first of all, excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. Second, reduced encumbrances to give more light to the rooms. We have also given particular attention to the installation which has been taken care of, following the highest standards of quality.
