Med Twist is a bioclimatic pergola with adjustable painted extruded aluminium blades, designed and made by Gibus. This structure combines the latest technology with a design that is sophisticated and unique at the same time.
Thanks to the 135 degree rotation of the electronically controlled blades, Med Twist allows the air to flow naturally, creating a perfect microclimate for living outdoors even on the hottest days.
Thanks to its modular design, the pergola integrates perfectly with any architectural design and different types of buildings, allowing you to create a new room in any context you desire.
A perfect example is the project created for the "Bagni Caranca" beach establishment in Bordighera (Italy): the bioclimatic pergola increased the space available to their customers, as well as their business. Guests can now enjoy their lunch and dinner completely protected by Med Twist, with a spectacular view of the sea.
The product also integrates perfectly in areas of particular natural beauty, just like those found in Liguria.
Med Twist is characterised by two patents, Side Seal and Twist Motion, respectively inherent to the perimeter seal and the unusual movement of the blades.
