New Green Facade System as a measure against "Urban Heat Islands"

We can see it on our thermometers on smartphones or cars. Strength

temperature rises in certain neighborhoods. What´s the reason for that?:

Impermeable, densely built-up areas such as roofs, roads and concrete dramatically change the microclimate and create heat islands; called "Urban Heat Islands". The radiation heat of these areas increase the temperatures and create an uncomfortable climate that significantly increases the energy requirements for the air conditioning of the building. It also has a great influence on health and lifestyle.

Unfortunately, this effect does increase through the climate change.

It's time to take action.

One way to reduce these urban heat islands is to create green spaces. Many cities such as Paris, Stuttgart or Vienna rely on the greening of facades and roofs.

We offer our newly developed facade greening system, in addition to the use for vertical green it fits also for "skygarden", which are floor gardens on medium-rise buildings.
