Facade greening pleases pensioners in Vienna

Countless examples now show how important green facades are in cities. Since this summer a green facade is decorating the main entrance of a retirement home in the 9th district of Vienna.

In the course of the general renovation, a cooling facade surface was also considered. Green Urban Life® was responsible for the implementation and carried out this with the premium version made of stainless steel cocoons.

On 80m2, 2500 plants now actively act against the urban heat islands effect. The static load per square meter is only 23 kg.

Plants used as part of the architecture to cool buildings is

the main intention of Green Urban Life®. A wide variety of systems and patents are already implemented in many international projects.

The cities of the future are green - Green Urban Life is helping to shape them.
