Elegant facade with protruding waves
In the 13th arrondissement of Paris, on the Boulevard Vincent Auriol, the architects of Abinal & Ropars have brought their expertise to bear on the construction of a building of 65 social housing units. As the building is located on a busy road close to the metro, a great deal of work was done on thermal and acoustic insulation.
For sun protection, Solozip fabric blinds were chosen to soften the architecture of the building and guarantee optimal protection against the wind. These blinds are covered with warm-colored Mermet fabrics, in keeping with the aluminum joinery and rules of the façade. The possibility of dismantling the guide laterally was a criterion of choice, as was the absence of screws on the surface sheet and the presence of a clip system.
