Biodynamic Light for Room Luminaires

Easy installation thanks to external controller PULSE NET by Waldmann

With PULSE NET, Waldmann has developed an external controller for using biodynamic light in room luminaires, which is characterised by an extremely easy installation.

Thanks to the external controller PULSE NET, the natural light effect of the Waldmann light management system PULSE VTL can also be easily combined with room luminaries such as the new IDOO family by Waldman for a biodynamic lighting. To this end, multiple luminaires are connected to PULSE NET via DALI. The change in light during the day is stored on an SD card, allowing the luminaires to simulate natural light according to the particular time of day. The controller is mounted in the building and provides information on light level and light colour to several luminaires in real time. The biological mode of action is obtained primarily with homogenous light impression of the linked luminaires. The adjustment of light colour and brightness is generated in the direct and indirect light component.

Based on the principle of Plug & Light, the system is very easy to put into operation via a five-wire cable. No read-in of individual luminaires or storing of time schedules or groups are required. Nor do the luminaires have to be integrated into a building automation system. This makes the controller suitable for smaller installations.
