Flat solar thermal collector

Thanks to its design and characteristics, the KS2000 TLP solar collector is an excellent product in the flat plate solar collectors category. The absorber is made of copper only. The connection between the copper pipes and the absorber plate is made using the state-of-the-art ultrasound welding method.

The use of structural glass pane of the highest solar radiation transmittance class (U1) leads to a high optical efficiency of 80.2%, confirmed in tests performed at the Institute for Solar Technology in Rapperswil, Switzerland. Mineral wool thermal insulation whose thickness is increased to 50 mm and a 20 mm thick insulation of the walls of the housing ensures low heat losses. The powder painted housing is an element of an attractive design of the solar collector.
