BELLE-ILE and KALM lighting

New lighting editions: BELLE-ILE and KALM

HISLE produced exceptional luminaires for Studio Briand & Berthereau for an office design project. The collaboration between the three designers was nurtured by constructive exchanges and a shared philosophy. Hervé Isle de Beauchaine brought his expertise in lighting to bear on the ideas and concepts of Joran Briand and Arnaud Berthereau.

BELLE-ILE table lamp

Its sleek lines, combined with the delicacy of the blown glass globe, create a warm and elegant atmosphere. H. 40cm, globe Ø 32cm, tactile and dimmable.

KALM, wall or pendant light

Its shape and patterns are reminiscent of the propagation of a wave on the surface of water.

High-quality hand-crafted finished. Ø 115cm, plaster structure and opaline globe.

Created in 2011 the Studio Briand & Berthereau (Paris and Quiberon) operates in the fields of interior, object and graphic design. Its philosophy is very simple: make the most possible out of the least possible. This approach seeks to create the perfect balance between form and function, by washing away the drawn-on aspect of the object to rid it of any superfluous addition and reveal its emotion-inducing power.
