The new Matrix ONE Innovation Center, situated in Amsterdam’s Science Park, has set itself up as a state-of-the-art, highly sustainable innovation building designed for meetings and interaction. Matrix ONE was constructed entirely out of reusable materials and has received the prestigious BREEAM Excellent certificate, underlining its
commitment to sustainability and care for the environment.
Hunter Douglas Architectural played a crucial role in the implementation of a HeartFelt® felt ceiling and wall system. This system not only contributes to the building’s aesthetics, but also enhances its sustainability and acoustics, ensuring an ideal environment for the companies and researchers that work here.
Matrix ONE is a breeding ground for innovation, with modern offices and laboratories, an open area for socialising and the presence of the University of Amsterdam’s SustainaLab, where researchers, business and government collaborate on the restoration of natural cycles and the future of our planet.
