The screw-in pedestal for raised outdoor flooring on natural ground

DeckoLight is the new high-resistance polypropylene pedestal designed to revolutionise the installation of raised outdoor flooring on natural ground. An innovative, robust and sustainable solution, developed to provide stability, precision and ease of installation in gardens, walkways and outdoor areas, without the need for concrete bases or foundations.

DeckoLight is designed to be screwed directly into the ground, a distinctive feature that reduces installation time and environmental impact while ensuring a reliable and safe system. Installation is carried out using the screwing adapter, a tool developed by Impertek and compatible with both manual and motorised auger, which allows for fast and secure anchoring. Once the screw is fixed into the ground, the ring nut is inserted to laterally adjust the height of the pedestal; if required, 20 mm or 80 mm Lunar extensions can be added before completing the assembly with the snap-fit Lunar Decking or Lunar Tile/Rail heads. The modular composition of the system ensures a wide height adjustment range and maximum adaptability to any design context.

The pedestal consists of several components, engineered to work together and ensure maximum flexibility during installation. The 450 mm screw is fully driven into the natural ground, while the 20 mm or 80 mm Lunar extensions, used to increase the height and stackable up to a maximum of three units, allow a total height range from 60 to 330 mm, enabling precise compensation of slopes and uneven surfaces. DeckoLight is compatible with Lunar Decking and Tile/Rail heads featuring the QuickOn system, allowing the installation of multiple finishes, from ceramic tiles and natural stone slabs to decking boards or aluminium joists for Rail systems. The pedestal can be converted from fixed to self-levelling simply by adding a balance ring between the ring nut and the head, enabling automatic slope correction of up to 5%. In addition, the high-resistance polypropylene structure guarantees high performance even in harsh weather conditions, ensuring long-term stability and durability.

DeckoLight stands out for its inspectability and quick, easy installation. It is ideal for gardens, walkways, outdoor seating areas, temporary stages or pedestrian zones: anywhere a safe, perfectly level surface is required on natural ground, without the use of foundations. The reversibility of the system also allows for easy removal and repositioning of the pedestal in the event of future interventions, without damaging or altering the ground.
