ISOMAT’s employees took part in the 8th International Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon!

ISOMAT’s employees participated for another consecutive year in the International Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon – Dole and the 5km Health and Power Walking Race, which took place on the night of Saturday 19 October 2019, in the city center of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Our team grows every year, with 50 out of the total 255 employees of ISOMAT’s central facilities in Thessaloniki participating in this year’s event – 4 of them ran in the 21km Half Marathon race while 46 more participated in the 5km Health and Power Walking Race.

The International Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon is considered to be the largest athletic celebration of autumn in Northern Greece, where runners of all ages come together and experience a unique evening full of color and music. This year, almost 20,000 participants from 60 different countries enjoyed the night “party” in the center of Thessaloniki, thus surpassing all expectations for participation.

The combination of excellent weather conditions with an enthusiastic atmosphere and a high-standard course contributed to the creation of a special night for all participants, including long-distance champions, Olympic and Special Olympic athletes, people with disabilities, Greek celebrities, as well as young students.
