Le Cordon Bleu

An eco-reponsible and ultramodern campus

Le Cordon Bleu, institute of culinary and hotel arts, takes up the fundamentals of the low buildings of the Front de Seine: compact volumetry and detachment from the ground while recreating a place in harmony with the initial slab. The new aluminium composite envelope is reminiscent of the cabin of the super constellation planes of the 1960s. It thus renews the identity of the institute and reorients the image of the building in a spectacular way. The cladding, which complies with environmental standards, is turned towards the panorama of the banks of the Seine, thus offering residents another landscape, different from that of the surrounding flat roofs.
