Jardins de Babylone

Jardins de Babylone has designed a plant screen for the company Corsairfly in their new VIP lounge "Grand Large" at Orly airport.

Covering an area of 280m², the "Grand Large" lounge is organized around private spaces with comfortable sofas and designer armchairs, and has been based on soothing colors, beige and mauve. At its center is a bar insulated by an open green wall, where the traveler can access sweet or savory buffets and drinks.

This screen plant is composed of different elements very distinct:

Project designed using a prototype and the shape of the panel was reworked according to irrigation.

The installation of four pumps, set on a timer system.

A total area of up to 20m².

The installation of a painted aluminum sheet of white color and laser cut.

A wide choice of plants: 12 varieties in total including the fern "bird's nest", helxine, pothos, mikania scandens ...

The creation of an atmosphere to improve the quality of well-being.

Nature is the source of all inspirations.

The green wall will make your interior zen and soothing with a rare interior decoration. Here, this Zen garden reinforces this sense of escape and travel.

The flora is inviting more and more into our spaces, as well as elements of decoration like vegetal works of art. Vegetation contributes to well-being, so these concepts of living walls can be part of the elements of urban ecology. These meet the principles of sustainable development as defined by the High Environmental Quality.

Green walls are also one of the most current trends. Depending on their type, they may include a simple wall decorated with climbing plants or a modular system of plants that can grow out of the wall structure.
