These are the distinguishing features of the Laminam 1620x3240x12mm ceramic slab which inspired Tonelli Design, a reference company in the world of design that specialises in the production of glass furniture and furnishings, to conceive the Metropolis table on which the slab is used as a horizontal table top.
Metropolis skilfully combines ceramic and glass to give rise to an item of interior décor with stylish silhouettes and high appeal, one that plays the starring role in any setting, wherever it is used, be it a home or an office environment.
Laminam is built to stand the test of time, retaining all its chromatic and material properties intact; no sharp object can spoil the surface, and weights do not deteriorate the material.
For Metropolis, Tonelli Design picked two natural and sophisticated textures from the Cava collection, a magnifying glass over the natural quarry that brings to the light precious features and veins that are strictly faithful to reality, in the Noir Desir and Orobico Grigio Lucidato finishes.
The large size ceramic slab in the 1620x3240x12mm size and the easy processing have enabled the processor to model the surface and the edges.
