2016 Sag Tubi - Office Building Interiors Novellara – Reggio Emilia/Italy Project: Ingrid Fontanili, Architect Kotan Grey 1000x3000 mm Laminam 3+

The uniformity of indoor and outdoor materials is one of the distinguishing features of the architectural project for the new Sag Tubi offices in the province of Reggio Emilia. The natural and highly hard-wearing Laminam ceramic surfaces have been used both inside and outside.

The new Sag Tubi offices in Novellara (RE), designed by the architect Ingrid Fontanili implement one of the most inspired series in the Laminam range, giving rise to a welcoming ambiance with particularly gentle shades. The office interiors, floor and wall tiling are in fact made of Laminam 1000x3000 mm Kotan ceramic slabs in Grey for a high-impact architectural total look.

The minimalist charm of Kyoto's architectural tradition gives rise to the Kotan series, inspired by the matt surfaces of rough cement. The textured surfaces feature an extreme balance of typical Japanese striking simplicity and craft-based washi paper maceration treatments, lending the surface a feeling of quiet and pureness. Laminam surfaces are resistant to scratches and deep abrasion, to fire, to frost and to high temperatures.
