Redeveloping an existing building means giving it new life and, rather than just aesthetic interventions, it can also be a way of totally changing its function.

This is the case with an old building in the historic centre of Cagliari, originally used for commercial purposes, before being completely restructured by the Gatti Piu studio and transformed into a luxury private apartment, great attention paid to its every detail and finish. With this interior project, Gatti Piu has once again expressed its particular attention to detail with effective technological solutions that interpret the sophisticated tastes of those who live in its spaces.

The apartment extends over three levels, connected by an internal staircase more than 10 metres high, the walls of which are entirely clad with Laminam ceramic slabs with the I Naturali, Calacatta Oro Venato finish.

The same finish is used for the cladding of other areas of the apartment, to create material and aesthetic continuity between the living and sleeping areas, the white marble effect enhancing and illuminating the spaces. Extremely hygienic, Laminam ceramic slabs are perfect for interior design, not only for their sophisticated aesthetics but also for their high level of resistance to stains, impacts and scratches and the fact they are easy to clean.
