Latermix Fast – the new high-performance screed lightened by Laterlite Plus Expanded Clay Aggregate

Laterlite presents Latermix Fast, the latest and most high-performance product in its range of lightweight screeds.

Latermix Fast is the ideal support for any type of floor finish. Thanks to the lightweight Laterlite Plus expanded clay aggregates used in its formulation, its excellent strength, planarity, and rapid drying are combined with a reduced load.

The inclusion of reinforcing fibres makes Latermix Fast extremely reliable in any situation, both in new construction and refurbishment works, where it is particularly important to minimise the load.

Latermix Fast can be used both internally and externally, even at reduced thicknesses (from 2.5 cm upwards for bonded screeds). It is CE marked in compliance with EN 13813.

Principal characteristics:

- Enables any type of floor finish to be laid quickly: after 36 hours for ceramic tiling or 5 days for moisture-sensitive flooring (at a screed thickness of 3 cm)

- High mechanical strength thanks to the presence of reinforcing fibres and Expanded Clay robust aggregate

- Weighs 30% less than traditional or flowing screeds (1250 kg/m3)

- Can be used at reduced thicknesses from 2.5 cm upwards (for bonded screeds)

- A 100% mineral and incombustible material

- Semi-dry consistency gives excellent workability and planarity

- Can be laid bonded, floating, or unbonded

- Supplied in lightweight, easy-to-handle bags

- Ready for use after mixing with only water
