Casa Milan

Studio Fabio Novembre

Fabio Novembre, architect and designer, signs the project for the new AC Milan headquarters, Casa Milan. Recently opened to the public and already a center of attraction in the city of Milan, the imposing architectural complex (10,000sqm) includes the Mondo Milan museum, the Cucina Milanello restaurant and bar, the Milan Store and spaces dedicated to offices.

For the covering of part of the surfaces, Novembre involved Lea Ceramiche, identifying two collections with a material effect that are perfectly linked to the imprinting designed by the architect for the entire space.

Starting from the area dedicated to the offices (conference room, breakout area and executive offices, for a total of 3500mq), the floors are covered by Metropolis, the concrete effect collection proposed in a wide chromatic range, 7 color variations that mix warm tones and cold. The modules, chromatically interspersed, draw recurring bands on the surface that give movement to the space and recall the dynamic effect deliberately offered by the walls.

Milan Store is the new official store of the AC Milan club. The 500sqm area, divided into two naves and which welcomes visitors with 5 spectacular and snappy fire-red sculptures, is entirely covered with ultra-thin (3.5mm thick) Gouache Slimtech slabs by Lea Ceramiche. The modules in the impressive 3m x 1m format enhance the space, underlining the distribution of the different areas dedicated to merchandising, to the Bookshop up to the mesh customization area.

Continuing for Cucina Milanello, Gouache Slimtech also covers the Restaurant area (500sqm): the large sizes in laminated stoneware, in addition to responding to features of maximum functionality and sustainability, make the space elegant and welcoming.
