Bicycle racks with integrated illumination

Redesign of outdoor spaces at supermarket branch

Originally used as construction profile for LED-handrails (60x40mm), this system is also suitable for the use as illuminated bicycle rack.

In the remodelling of a supermarket branch in Linz, Austria the challange was to bring more life into the outdoor area by creating an inviting ambiance. The key to success was the illumination of the outdoor objects such as the bicycle racks, which are points of reference for the clients and now can be identified easier from distance.
