Lenzi Trianon - Marrakesh, Koutoubia Mosque

Trianon, design lantern of ironwork

The Koutoubia mosque in Marrakesh is a religious building built in the 12th century. Lenzi installed his lanterns along Mohammed VI Avenue, which runs alongside the mosque. The Trianon lantern is classified as a lantern of ironwork, a traditional light from the first oil or gas lanterns of the 17th and 19th centuries.

Developed by Lenzi’s design office, Trianon is a lantern of round form, in aluminium and fully IP 66. All components are stainless. Within the framework of sustainable development, Trianon can be entirely recycled and respect RoHS compliance (which restrains the use of dangerous substances).

More than 50 Trianon upright lanterns in double sconces on Sologne wood poles border the mosque to make this place its exceptional aspect both in architectural form with its T-shape and historical as representative of the art of Almohades.
