Fondation Louis Vuiiton, Paris, France

The Fondation Louis Vuitton is an art museum and cultural centre that opened in 2014. It is situated in Bois de Boulogne, a stones throw to the Jardin d’Acclimation in Paris. The designer Frank Gehry took inspiration from late 19th century glass and garden architecture to create a unique contemporary building which forms 12 sails—each one unique.

Macalloy supplied Stainless Steel Tension bars in a range of sizes, with special components, engineered and supplied by Macalloy. Our specialist in-house equipment was also supplied to tension the bars.
