Niki's Resort

Italian terracotta floors

Nestled on a hill overlooking the Assino Valley, stands Niki's Resort an ancient hamlet of 1137 composed of the Church of Santa Maria di Agnano, its fortress in defense of the territory, consisting of a central body with a tower that served as a place of sighting on the valley below, as well as another building.

Surely one of our most beautiful works, which you have recently seen, has been entirely restored maintaining original shapes and materials, with furniture carefully designed to respect the sobriety, style and atmosphere of a small jewel of medieval literature and history.

The renovations took place under the direction of the Superintendency of Monuments of Umbria, scrupulously adhering to the architecture of the time, intervening with normal maintenance works on the outside and radical inside, also restoring the frescoes.

Just look at how the original architectural details have been preserved, combining them with a contemporary and chic decor.

A combination of contemporary research and authenticity: perfect for a dream resort, with maximum comfort and well-being.

Maintain the original characteristics of these wonderful buildings by enriching them with modern and design furnishing accessories.

By enhancing the exposed wooden beams of the ceilings, the rough stone walls and the original doors, a great result was achieved.

The handmade terracotta and wood-fired terracotta floors could not be missing, which preserve the authenticity and charm of the old farmhouse.

Niki's Resort provides its customers with an internal catering service throughout the period which is equivalent to the high season.

The surprising aspect is that the restaurant develops inside a deconsecrated church, truly creating a wonderful and suggestive atmosphere.
