Handmade and wood fired terracotta

For this project, our Cotto Chiaro Umbro was chosen, made with deep Tuscan and Umbrian clays. The use of Sienese clays allows us to obtain terracotta with excellent technical qualities, in order to guarantee a product suitable for internal and external use. The Umbrian clays, which we carefully select from Tuscia, instead give the final product the typical straw yellow colour, thanks to the presence of volcanic residues from Lake Bolsena.

Last but not least, wood-fired cooking allows you to obtain not only terracotta with specific technical characteristics, but also nuances of color that change from item to item and give each individual element the effect of natural cooking. .

Our Cotto adapts perfectly to any architectural style and is ideal for flooring any room in the home. In fact, it can be easily installed in the living area, just like in the kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.

Not only at home, but also for accommodation facilities

Thanks to our exclusive anti-stain treatment, we make the surface protected from any stain, as well as from wear and tear, once and for all. This is possible only thanks to the very high quality of our terracotta products. In this project we have used exclusive modern products, with a water-based formulation, under the Maestri del Cotto brand. In fact, the effect of the treatment appears neutral, and does not change the color of the support. Finally, the finish remains opaque, ideal for being completely invisible.

This treatment, just like all our other products, allows us to protect the floor from stains and daily wear.

Even in the case of a Natural surface finish, the treatment helps to make the floor extremely practical and smooth, allowing for really simple cleaning.

The light terracotta is particularly suitable for rooms with low light or not particularly large spaces.

The square format in the 20x20 cm format is ideal for giving the floor a classic and elegant look.
