Prize Designs Award 2022 for our Scoop Ocean

made from 50 % recycled fishnet

The hidden detail that can make a big difference in a design product. Scoop Ocean has just received the world-famous historic Prize Designs Award given for the first time in 70 years and first created by Moma in 1949 to highlight pioneering design in the world.

Designer Julie Storm: I am so proud of this project that turns fishing net trash into high-end design products. Recycling raw materials is important in so many ways. We must look at waste with new eyes. It is gold that lies there in the oceans and in landfills.

In the development of this plastic, we have had a lot of help from Plastix, Beologic and Dan Hill Plast, and we are truly grateful for this
