An EPD is a document that complies with the ISO 14025 standard, providing comprehensive and verified information about a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to production, use, end-of-life or recycling processes.

An example is the integration of automatic doors in the BBVA Buenos Aires Tower, a project that has obtained the LEED Gold certification. This building features six central opening automatic doors with fixed panels and a full anti-panic system. These doors are seamlessly incorporated into the architectural design, enhancing thermal comfort and optimising energy efficiency.
Another project in which Manusa participated and received LEED Gold certification is the KNEM offices in Barcelona, where the standard automatic sliding doors with central opening were installed.
At the Méndez Álvaro 31 Tower in Madrid, which has LEED Platinum certification, the automatic doors in the building are part of a global sustainability strategy, helping to reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.
