Ma.Vi. Ceramica celebrates the Bauhaus

The 26 + 2 letters printed on the Alfabètile tiles by Mavi, inspired by the graphics of the Bauhaus, allow you to create surfaces animated by words or with imaginative compositions

The collection by Ma.Vi. Ceramica designed by Daniele Della Porta and Clara Nardiello is called Alfabètile, and represents the celebration of the Bauhaus and its (over) 100 years since its foundation. Alfabètile (Alfabeto + Tile) reproduces on ceramic tiles (20 x 20 cm) the alphabet inspired by the visual codes of the historic German Bauhaus school, hand-painted to create the right combination between the tradition of Cava de Tirreni, where the company is located, and the Central European culture, to which the collection winks.

The Alfabètile collection offers infinite freedom of expression: the letters with the Bauhaus graphics allow you to create words and therefore to tell stories, giving life to floors and coverings that can dialogue with spaces. This type of use was designed especially for commercial spaces (retail, restaurants, hotels) where the narrative element is essential to communicate your identity to your audience.

By mixing the 26 (+2) letters that make up this alphabet, you can create geometries, therefore different patterns. The 10 proposed colors add infinite combinations to a universal language made of signs and letters, which gives rise to new archetypes of communication. Alfabètile by Ma.Vi is an extremely versatile collection, a true tool in the hands of the designer.
