Reference report: Drainage solution for production hall in Schernfeld

System solution MEARIN PLUS

The municipality of Schernfeld is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt and is directly embedded in the Altmühl Valley. The family business Templer Natursteinwerk, which is located there, is specialized in processing and finishing stone materials for the home and garden as well as for landscaping. MEARIN PLUS 300 drainage channel was installed in the newly built production hall. The project was carried out by the construction company Albert Margraf GmbH.

The client’s requirement was to find a channel body for the drainage of production water that would not rust, but at the same time can withstand heavy loads without any problems. These requirements were met with the MEARIN PLUS universal drainage channel with nominal width 300. 280 m of the channel were installed together with ductile iron grates with loading class D 400.

MEARIN PLUS is made of high-performance glass-fibre reinforced composite. The channel is easy to install and, despite its minimal weight, extremely resistant to abrasion. The high-tech material is dimensionally stable, heat-resistant and resistant to chemicals. Thanks to the large selection of channel covers up to loading class D 400, a drainage system is created that guarantees a high resilience.

MEARIN PLUS convinced the customer as a robust and at the same time corrosion-free drainage solution for indoor areas.
