As part of the modernization and expansion of the ''Pic de Bure'' radio telescope, the highest radio telescope in Europe, 2400 meters of MEA Water Management's MEARIN 300 high performance technical ducting was installed.

Our client was looking for a way to create a technical gallery to pass the new fiber optic connections. The channel solution with a solid cast iron cover was chosen because it allows for more accurate repair interventions in case of problems.

After presentation of the MEARIN 300 and its accessories, this product was chosen for the realization thanks to its advantages:

- Light weight (transport on site by cable car)

- Easy to install

- Rigidity

- Loading class D 400

- Perfect anchoring of the channel in the concrete bed

- Resistant to chemicals, salt build-up and oils
