Stool design clearly demonstrates the basic geometry design principles on which entire KALOTA product range is based.

Sphere geometry is cut beneath the equator creating a “bowl”. Legs are positioned in a way so that long axis projection converge in the sphere centre. Resulting concave geometry that holds round seat on the top distributes the forces on its surface evenly in all directions so construction can be made using less material resulting in unexpectedly lightweight, stiff construction.

The space beneath the round seat is useful for application of upholstery with elastic webbing which greatly adds to the seating comfort.

Legs are detachable with screws for convenient transport.
