ANDREA BRANZI DESIGNER OF THE 2015 DONATION FOR THE ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION.
The ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION , increasingly active in the promotion and propagation of the applied arts in Italy and in the world, has received for the year 2015 a donation of a project designed by the architect ANDREA BRANZI.
The Nikko chair will thus officially become part of the large and rich permanent collection of the MAAM Museum of Applied Arts in the Furniture sector which the ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION has set up at its headquarters in Villa Dionisi: which now has been enriched with a project of a designer who has made the history of contemporary living, a professional symbol of the international vanguard.
The donation, produced by MORELATO, is a chair in a birch plywood with pearwood veneeer aand wengé. Dimensions: L 50 W 52 H 89
ANDREA BRANZI needs no introduction, his name immediately recalls the biography of a superstar. This prestigious project is one of the latest collaborations of the the ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION with famous personalities of the world of architecture in recent years: in 2014 Adolfo Natalini donated the table Frammento Misura, in 2013 Mario Botta with Chaise Morelato (part of the contemporary furniture collection of the MORELATO company), in 2012 Piero Lissoni with the library Codex in 2011 Paola Navone with the console Layer and many others such as Marco Ferreri, Michele De Lucchi, Fabio Novembre, Paolo Deganello, Aldo Cibic, etc ...
These illustrious donations testify and reward the the tenacious dedication and continuous commitment of the ALDO MORELATO FOUNDATION, which under the leadership of its President Giorgio Morelato and Artistic Director the architect Ugo La Pietra, has been promoting for over a decade art and culture through numerous activities with international relevance.
