Automatic sliding doors with magnetic linear motor technology

MOTION4 has recently equipped the new Coca Cola Headquarters office in Madrid (Spain), with an EvoDrive automatic door in each access to the toilet areas in all floors. To increase the convenience of the users working in this new and modern building, and to reduce noise levels coming from the toilet rooms, the architects decided to separate both areas with an automatic door. The EvoDrive was the option chosen, due to its sleek and compact design. With a height of only 60 mm and a header frame with polished anodized finish, the EvoDrive operator looks discreet and elegant when fixed aligned just under the ceiling. To reduce the visual impact, the architects in charge of the design decided not to use any activation device, and simply use the “Push & Go” function to activate the door. With this function, standard in all our automatic doors, the door will open and close automatically by gently pushing the door handle on the door leaf. The EvoDrive moves smoothly and completely silent thanks to its exclusive linear motor technology, helping keeping the office area free of noises, and help workers concentrate in their job.
