The less cost-effective Greenfix wattles are made of 100% of Europe's finest straw fibres. They are surrounded with a tear-resistant, UV-instabil PE-net and they act as natural barrier to help capture sediments and to control stormwater run-off.

The straw integrates into the soil after a certain time, adds organic material to it and retains moisture for vegetation.

Our stitched fibre blankets consist of 100% biological fibres. Only the netting as well as the thread can be of synthetic origin. According to the requirements of our customers we have the following choice of nettings:

Standard Netting Basically all fibre blankets are stitched with non-UV resistant PP-Nettings and PP-Multifilament stitching threads. The supporting/reinforcing netting destabilizes and decomposes during the years and will be covered by vegetation. It is not recommended for hydraulic constructions and areas which are later on to be used as pasture land.
