Ethanol fires have become increasingly popular in recent years. Since a wood stove cannot be installed in every household and the requirements for operating existing wood fireplaces are becoming increasingly stringent, people long for an alternative in order to continue to enjoy their romantic log fire. This is where our manual ethanol burners come in.

Ethanol is a fuel that is completely harmless to health. No smoke is produced during operation, which irritates eyes and lungs, and no chimney is required. The fire can be placed openly in the room or enclosed with glazing. The annoying ash sweep, which every wood stove owner knows, is also eliminated. Ethanol burns without residue. The burner can be easily filled with bioethanol and then burns very cleanly, so that no post-processing is necessary.

Since ethanol fire is real fire, there is of course also a build-up of heat. Our burners (depending on the model and size) are between 1.16 and 7.5 kW. Please note this when choosing your new burner.

Our bioethanol burners are state-of-the-art and are equipped with all kinds of safety features: the ignition takes place without deflagration. The anti-slop-over protection prevents the contents from spilling and the micro-pore system ensures excellent combustion properties. The mechanical glow sensor also shows the activity of the burner. As long as the sensor is still glowing, the combustion chamber is still hot and the next filling should still be left out.

Both burners are produced according to the specifications of the ethanol fireplace TÜV standard DIN 4734. However, a test is not possible without a chimney.

The flame formation, which is one of the trademarks of our bio-burners, was perfected in our own tests through optimal circulation. Thanks to the brushed stainless steel, the combustion chambers not only look classy, ​​they are also less sensitive to dirt. The burners are versatile. They can be integrated into all non-combustible materials (e.g. stainless steel, natural stone, concrete, etc.) and are used, for example, in all muenkel design bioethanol fireplaces.

It can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, we recommend using a cover outdoors when not in use, in order to avoid excessive soiling and possibly associated impairments.

The burner technology of the round burner is state-of-the-art in terms of safety and flame formation. The round shape of the stainless steel combustion chamber also adapts to unusual construction plans. The glass cylinder in the covered outdoor area ensures that the flame does not blow even in light winds.

The round burner is available in two different versions: as a round burner 250 with a diameter of 25 cm or as a round burner 300 with a diameter of 30 cm. While the round burner 250 always includes a glass cylinder, the round burner 300 allows you to choose whether you want it with or without glass. The functionality is not affected by this decision.

The muenkel design safety burner is the successor to the proven safety box. It represents a high-quality bioethanol combustion chamber, which convinces with its micro-pore system, anti-slop-over protection and the innovative mechanical glow sensor due to its excellent safety and combustion properties. It was specially developed for integration into self-designed ethanol fireplaces and meets the highest requirements in the area of ​​gastronomy and the hotel industry. The safety burner is at the heart of individual creations.

In addition to the inner chamber for combustion, the safety burner has an additional outer drip pan that provides additional security against ethanol leakage. Both chambers are subject to muenkel design quality control and have been tested for leaks at every safety burner. There is a slider inside the combustion chamber, which is easily guided by a sophisticated mechanism. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that perfect regulation is still possible even when hot.

The safety burner is available in a total of eight sizes between 29 and 120 cm wide. This variety of sizes makes it suitable for any installation situation.
