Sapelli
It belongs to the tree family grown in Mid-West Africa. It has brown heartwood, close to dark red. Its height can reach 45 m. Insects and microorganisms cannot easily harm this tree.
Sapelli ranks among the best types of lumber, because it shows very little shrinkage or cracking, and can be easily varnished and painted. Although it is hard, it is easily shaped with hand tools and machinery. It is easily nailed and glued.
It has qualities that allow it to be used in very diverse areas. It is widely used in furniture sector, surfacing with decorative purposes, carving and turning, various flooring production, and internal and external parts of buildings.
