Maison Vélo

Maison Vélo protects and secures bicycles personal in the public space.

For 10 years we have been designing and supplying unique and elegant furniture in the whole territory. We decided to design a secure shelter for bicycles because we had a critical look at this type of object: we observed that integration into the environment was often delicate and that the forms were often not very identifiable, that the practicality of fitting and removing the bicycles, in particular their maintenance, was not always ideal, that the perception of dirt retained on the ground by obstacles was detrimental to the perception of furniture.

Our secure shelter is designed for practicality of use and elegant integration into the both built and natural environments. Its design pursues the ambition of shelters easily identifiable, it is both iconic and evocative of the protection it offers. Maison vélo is powered by a solar panel and can be used to charge bicycles electrical. Its controlled lock is managed via a dedicated app on the the user.
