Paloform: Fire pits designed for form, function and safety

Our certified natural gas and propane burners are designed, assembled and tested in house.

Design doesn’t end with the parts that you see. From the beginning our aim has been to create beautiful, functional objects that allow safe engagement with the essential qualities of fire and encourage the experience of comfort and togetherness.

This goal led us to design and develop our own stainless steel burners which are individually assembled and tested in-house. Having all of our processes and knowledge under one roof allows us the ability to closely monitor all aspects of the pieces that we produce. Aesthetic, material and functional experience are all considered and our working methods are guided by certification standards that require specific quality control processes and compliance, with factory audits and production inspections, as well as strict labeling guidelines.

All of our modern fire pits are certified to CSA/ANSI standards in North America and listed by ETL. In Europe they bear the CE marking and are third-party tested and certified to the European Gas Appliance Directive 2009/142/EC. We offer natural gas and propane models with either a manual or electronic ignition. Both ignition types include a safety shut-off that disconnects the gas supply when no flame is sensed. Our electronic ignitions are connected to and controlled by a 230 V power source. This allows for multiple control options from a simple switch or timer to a home-automation system. Each unit arrives ready to connect to local gas and electrical.

Our burners have been designed to work in conjunction with our line of concrete and metal vessels but may also be incorporated into bespoke fire features.
