French "Captain Cook's Travels" scenic wallpaper

Papiers de Paris works with french MAD Museum to reissue a Dufour scenic Wallpaper

In the continuity of our recent works with french Museums, we made a photography campaign to digitalise the wallpaper "Les Sauvages de la Mer du Pacifique", also known as Captain Cook's Travel. This is one of the first known wallpaper murals issued in 1804 by the Dufour company.

the result is a breathtaking reproduction with amazing details of the original scenic wallpaper. A beautiful exotic decor that reminds

the enthusiasm for travel and discovery in the 19th century.
