Modified epoxy
DEFINITION
High dry extract, two component epoxy paint with zinc phosphate pigments,
boasting excellent chemical resistance and good adherence to old
glycerophtalic and epoxydic coats, as long as they are in a good state.
INTENDED USES
Primary and/or intermediate paint used as finish coat on ships or for
repairing existing systems, cleaned by means other than dry abrasive
blasting for marine and industrial structures exposed to aggressive
environments.
PRINCIPAL CARACTERISTICS
Provides good protection against corrosion in a maritime or industrial
environment.
Properties allowing to apply 200 µm-thick layers with no sagging.
Good adherence on old coats of paint and prepared steel.
Note: the coating properties, excluding the aspect, are not affected by
exposure to actinic radiation.
