MR01 Modulo Radiante, Technique and Design

Radiant Raised Floor

Born from the desire to innovate, combining modernity, respect for the environment and elegant finishes, Modulo Radiante by Planium is the first radiant raised floor with integrated hot/cold hydronic system.

What does it mean?

Modulo Radiante covers screeds or other existing flooring and guarantees total accessibility to the plants. Cables and pipes could be easily and precisely inspected at any time. Its installation is quick, it is dry, it can be done in a very simple way, according to the thermotechnical project.

The piping length is such as to guarantee uniformity of the surface temperature and, at the same time, of the required thermal power. Each module is always repositionable.

What's new?

Modulo Radiante means unparalleled comfort of heating and cooling in the floor, using a radiant water system inserted into the modules. In the heating phase the power reached is approx. 100W/sqm, or 35W per module with minimum delivery temperature and low consumption. The surface temperature must correspond to the hygienic and physiological requirements, respecting the maximum limit of 29 ° C.

What really stands out?

The speed of low-inertia operating is its strong point and is achieved thanks to a thickness of only 32 mm of the heating package.

The module consists of a deep-drawn storage basin, made up of a core of split-folded vertical elements that give mechanical resistance to the element. The necessary piping is inserted inside. Core and tubing are covered with lightened cellular cement with a density of 1,400kg/m3.

The module must be complete with metal cover that guarantees top and perimeter closing; the upper finish is made of galvanized steel, which can be customized and completed as desired

Which finishes can be applied?

Modulo Radiante is also style and aesthetic impact. Planium proposes a series of metallic finishes, which optimize, by their nature, heat conduction. The catalog includes brushed smooth steel, embossed, calamine, oxidised steel, bronze, copper and brass. It is, therefore, possible for designers to create any setting and scenario.
