Pratic presents a neuroscientific research about the effects of light
Always being an innovative company in the outdoor field, Pratic commissioned a neuroscientific research about the effects of light on lifestyle, design and health. The research preview has been presented to the press on Tuesday 13th February, at 11.00 o’clock, in the premises of the IULM University of Milan.
A major project of veritable open air culture.
We were wondering about which was the key element of the open air life, able to turn both our pergolas and awnings into the perfect place where to enjoy some quality time.
We decided to answer these questions in collaboration with a group of researchers. We worked together on a study that describes how light affects the biological clock of human beings, whom proper functioning implies great benefits for both health and mood.
We are talking about a detailed analysis based on the latest international studies aim at understanding how design and architecture, combined with the sphere of light, are actually able to improve lifestyles by balancing it with the organism’s needs.
A link to download the research will soon be available.
It would be a pleasure to share the results with you all!
*The research has been carried out and coordinated by the semiologist Stefano Calabrese (IULM Milan), in collaboration with the narratologist Claudio Dolci and the aesthetician Serena Zaniboni, both coming from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
