There isn’t much that we wouldn’t do to get our hands on one of Marcio Kogan’s masterpieces
The Brazilian architect founded Studio MK27 in 2001 and has since swept more than 50 architectural awards around the globe. The firm’s well-rounded and multidisciplinary approach certainly contributes to their success. In fact, the firm’s vast pool of knowledge extends to design, urban planning, cinema, economics, politics and art, all of which provide a clear source of inspiration that shows up in the finished projects. When approaching a project, above all, Studio MK27 takes into account the climate, topography and social conditions, responding to any challenges with innovative solutions. Each project results in pure forms and clean, modern lines that continuously have us drooling.
We met with Marcio recently who told us he views himself as a ‘prostitute’ giving pleasure without having time to take any. Click to find out more and discover his own interior that he opened up for the special Cosmit exhibition, ‘Where Architects Live‘, presented at this year’s Salone del Mobile.
