harto's playful furniture collection at maison & objet and imm cologne

harto prides itself on creating eye catching functional furniture, which is clearly presented in their new range of products.

the collection uses a neutral palette with occasional bursts of colour that adds a playful tone to individual pieces. the brand has collaborated with a number of designers including pierre-françois dubois, who designed the ‘marius’ sideboard. the curves of ‘marius’ recall the shape of a ship’s hull while the pattern of the doors alludes to it’s sails. the second product presented is the ‘georges’ armchair which was designed by guillaume delving studio, which is the first of its kind to be designed for harto. ‘georges’ has a curved and comfortable padded seat, which is mounted on a structure made of solid oak. the range also includes modular storage units with painted drawers, which adds a warm, friendlier tone to these minimal furniture products.

harto’s new range will be exhibited at maison & objet and imm cologne in january 2016.
