Designing in a Smart World

Brazilian designer Andrei Speridião is an “anti-specialist,” bridging gaps, uniting departments, assembling people and ideas

His goal is to apply digital thinking to the physical world. Still only a teen, he worked with Peugeot. Inspired by his designer mother and engineer father, the young man created 3D printed jewelry of ABS plastic. Speridião also contributed to the YouTube Science Box, created to promote a major Brazilian YouTube player. Today, he is head of technology and interaction design at Questto|Nó, a graphic design firm. Speridião also lectures all over Brazil on design, technology and digital fabrication.
