Modular metal bookcase adds a daring, modern touch to its surroundings
Ronda Design is presenting Iron-ic, the new modular metal bookcase, at the Milan Design Week 2015. Featuring a natural iron modular architecture based on the snap-together assembly of each module’s components, Iron-ic owes its original and unmistakable wavy look to its curvilinear sides, with a harmonious and attractive zig-zag shape that blends in equally well with classic and modern settings.
The bookcase is comprised of four 72x72x30cm grids, which can be freely replicated ccording to individual needs. Iron-ic lends a strong contemporary mood to its environment, with a natural iron finish giving it a daring and attractive appearance. A painted white version is also available for a softer touch, with various module back panels available in several wood finishes.
The bases are fitted with adjustable feet for uneven floors, and the modules are designed for safety wall-fastening. The modules can be secured to one another using magnets or screws supplied by the manufacturer. Minimal packaging combined with horizontal stacking of the metal components helps to reduce shipping fees. The bookcase is easy to assemble, with each module including clear and detailed instructions.
