CORNERS BY KYUHYUNG CHO BRINGS A NEW EDGE TO ORGANIZATION

Colorful layers slide apart to become a new cornerstone of household organization

You may remember Kyuhyung Cho from his sinuous collection with Studio E.O or the playful Room Collection Furniture System that he designed with Erik Olovsson, but this time the Korean-born designer will launch the CORNERS collection on his own. First shown at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, the three-part organizational system comprised of one shelf and two dividers. Inspired by the way we write on paper, starting in the upper left hand corner, CORNERS reflects the importance of the corner as a starting point for expression.

The separate components are layered according to size and occur in different colors, not only allowing easy storage of belongings but adding a touch of individuality. The dividers can slide from side to side to allow flexibility according to the size and form of objects being organized, with the color scheme highlighting and defining different areas.

CORNERS can be used on a desk, fixed to a wall or simply placed in the corner of a room. Made of powder coated steel with a sand textured finish, the system consists of a 26 cm large square, a 16.7 cm medium square, and a small square of 8.2 cm, or a large 67 x 23 x 23 cm rectangle, a 46.7 x 15.6 x 15.6 cm medium rectangle, and a 26.3 x 8.3 x 8.3 cm small rectangle.
