LED POSTER LAMP MADE FROM A SHEET OF PAPER

YOY's new lamp can be taped to the wall like a poster

Japanese design studio YOY has designed the Poster Lamp, a simple wall lamp that matches the standard A2 poster format. It is made from a single sheet of paper and, like a regular poster, can be easily fixed to the wall with pins or tape. A small LED hidden behind the paper shines through slits that create a convex lamp shade. Various patterns can be printed on the paper in order to make it unique. The studio presented the lamp for the first time at last week’s Ambiente in Frankfurt, Germany.
