Urban and organic join forces in the Parisian artist's latest project

French designer Christophe Guinet (professionally known as Mr. Plant) continues to bring together urban and organic in his latest design. Natural Skateboarding incorporates rough tree bark as the deck of a skateboard. The top resembles a typical board, but viewed from any other angle, the object demands a second look. There’s something odd in viewing an untouched natural material on a very modern object whose home would perhaps be a concrete half pipe and definitely not a forest. Maybe forest skateboarding can become a new trend? Or is that already a thing?
